Pearl-Fee Quail is a relatively new discovery from the German Pastel Collection. Falb-Fee and Golden Manchurian are the building blocks of the Pearl-Fee. The result: an absolutely gorgeous bird with solid black speckles over a pure white base. Males can still show a bit of color around the face, carrying through from the classic Golden Manchurian male. Females exhibit almost no color at all.
Pearl-Fee Quail is an 8-12 oz bird that lays 12-14 gram eggs. Through selective breeding, we are slowly increasing the size of our Pearl-Fees to make them a true jumbo line.
What to expect: 100% of our Pearl-Fee Quail production line will hatch Heterozygous pearl. We are researching a pearl cross, which yields a mixture of Pearl-Fee, Golden, Falb-Fee, and double diluted Pearl which appears similar to pearl but with lighter gray speckles instead of the deeper black normally associated with the classic Pearl Fee. We mix our research Pearl eggs with the production eggs except by request for pure Pearl-Fees. Feel free to request this in the order notes at the checkout page.
We ship all Pearl-Fee Quail eggs with care in custom foam for insulation and protection during transport. The post office can be unpredictable, but this shipping method gives your eggs the best chance of maintaining viability, and we always include extra eggs free of charge when available. If eggs are damaged during shipping, contact us regarding a claim with the post office. If eggs appear undamaged but do not hatch, please feel free to reach out to us and we will do our best to make it right. Our goal is to make you happy with high quality eggs, fast shipping, and good customer service.
Give these eggs a shot! You’ll be glad you did.
