We are no longer selling hatching eggs to the public, but have left the following listing active to keep information available to our customers and to other sellers. Many of our lines are now available from Thieving Otter Farm.
We also have adult birds for sale, available here.
If you have purchased eggs from us before, we thank you for supporting our farm and our research. We are shifting focus from hatching eggs to our coaching program: Quailology. Some of the members of this program have already taken on the responsibility of maintaining several of our bloodlines in order to make them available to the public going forward, and we look forward to supporting these farms in the years to come. The following is our historical product description:
Can't decide? Want some variety? Try our Hatchery’s Choice of Coturnix eggs that will produce countless plumage variations. All varieties are the same species but will hatch several different colors and patterns. If you want to raise meat or eggs and also have a beautiful and diverse flock, this is a great way to get a little bit of everything.
This assortment will include several varieties and may be drawn from the German Sparkly Collection, the Schofield Silver Collection, the German Pastel Collection, and several other specialty plumages. A few of the variations that may hatch from this assortment include: White, Silver, Lavender, Falb Fee, Grau Fee, Egyptian, Autumn Amber, Golden Manchurian, Cinnamon, Pansy, Italian, Rosetta, Tibetan, Calico, and more as we add them to our hatchery! We do not include eggs from our production lines of Jumbo Browns or Jumbo Whites; any birds that hatch wild-type, brown, or white are the result of genetic variation in some of our color collections. Specific varieties included as Hatchery's Choice will not be marked in the packaging.
This is a really fun assortment to experiment with genetically and can yield endless color variations. Expect some of these birds to reach jumbo weights of 12-14 oz, and others to reach standard weights of 8-10 oz or anything between these size ranges. When mature, this assortment should yield 10-14 g eggs at a rate similar to any production line of Coturnix.
We ship all eggs with care in custom foam for insulation and protection during transport. The post office can be unpredictable, but this shipping method gives your eggs the best chance of maintaining viability, and we always include extra eggs free of charge when available. While we cannot guarantee your hatching success, we are more than willing to assist with any incubation or shipping related issues, so feel free to contact us at any point of your quail journey if you have questions or concerns about your eggs. Our goal is to make you happy with high quality eggs, fast shipping, and good customer service.
